You probably already know about the Card Duplication feature in Buckets, but do you know how to use it and apply it to your own workflow?
Duplicating Cards in Buckets means that you can re-use that Card without having to set it up all over again. This is really useful when you’re managing a number of Projects that are inter-related and you need a copy of the Card in a few Projects (i.e. when it doesn’t make sense to move the Card out of its current workflow).
It’s also important to note that when you duplicate a Card, it becomes a standalone Card. This means that any changes that you make to the original Card will not be reflected in your Duplicated Cards.
For example; if you’re managing a team of designers, and you’ve already set up an awesome Card with a Checklist for onboarding new clients to Buckets, you’ll want to share that Card with everyone on the team to ensure that those guidelines are followed. Think of it as a template. If you duplicate the Card and move it into each individual Project your designers are working on, they can each work through the Checklists individually and adapt the template as required.
